*All courses and distances are subject to change. The distances listed are pending per city and county approval.

Big O Half Iron Triathlon
Swim: 1.2 Miles
Bike: 51.15 Miles
Run: 12.56 Miles (Each Lap is 6.28 Miles)

All Triathletes must meet the following cut-offs. If any athlete does not make the time cut they will be pulled from the race. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! These times are set in place for the safety of each athlete.

Swim Cut-off: 1 hour 10 Minutes
Bike Cut-off: 4 hours to be back into transition.
Run Cut-off: Off course at 3:00 P.M.

Big O Half Duathlon
Run #1: 1 Mile
Bike: 56 Miles
Run #2: 12.56 Miles (Each Lap is 6.28 Miles)

All Duathlon Athletes must meet the following cut-off times. If any athlete does not make the time cut they will be pulled from the race. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! These times are set in place for the safety of each athlete.

Bike Cut-off: 3 hours to be back into transition.
2nd Run Cut-off: Off course at 1:00 P.M.

Big O Sprint Distance Triathlon
Swim: .75 Kilometers
Bike: 11.51 Miles
Run: 4.03 Miles

1:00 P.M. & or 3:00 P.M. Mandatory Meeting for all Half Distance athletes & Half Distance Duathlon athletes. Athletes have the choice of attending either of the meetings but, must attend one.

Sunday, May 4th, 2008
Lake Olathe, Olathe, Kansas

5:30 A.M. Lake Olathe opens
5:30 A.M. Chip Pick-up and Body Marking
6:00 A.M. Swim Course Opens
6:30 A.M. Swim Course Closes
7:00 A.M. ALL ATHLETES must be Body Marked and Chips picked-up
*This includes all Sprint Distance athletes*
7:00 A.M. All Parking Closes for Non-Athletes
7:00 A.M. Triathlon Starts
7:00 A.M. Duathlon Starts
8:00 A.M. Sprint Distance Triathlon Starts

AWARDS

All athletes are eligible for Overall and Individual Age Group Awards. If any athlete places in the Top 5 Overall all they are no longer eligible for their respective age group awards. They will be taken out of their respective age groups at that time.

NOTE: If any athlete does not attend the awards ceremony their award WILL NOT BE MAILED REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES. Preliminary results will be posted after each race is completed. All results are final upon the completion of the awards ceremony. At that time all awards are final as well and will not be changed.

Overall Awards: 1st – 5th Place Male and Female

Age Group Awards: 1st – 3rd Place: Male and Female
