Valued athletes,

On behalf of KLM Marketing Solutions, The City of Olathe and our sponsors we regret to inform you that the 2008 Big O Triathlon has been cancelled. Due to circumstances out of our control we are unable to re-schedule the event for 2008. We have exhausted our resources and options to place this event at a different venue within the KC Metro Area as well as other venues that host triathlons. Due to the given circumstances it is not an option at this time to move or re-schedule the event. Our staff and sponsors have worked feverously to find an alternate solution but, w e were unsuccessful. The City of Olathe has provided a letter of support stating the reasons behind the cancellation, further showing the reasons of cancellation are out of our control. We have listed what we will be do ne for those athletes who have registered for the 2008 event. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused in your training schedule, work schedule and personal lives.

Sincerely,
Bill Marshall
President
KLM Marketing Solutions
